Alternative to foil

I rarely use foil in the kitchen but I do use it to cover the Sunday joint as it's cooking.

What can I use in place of foil if the joint is in a roasting tin? I don't have a tin with a lid which I suppose is one idea, but I really don't want to have to buy more cookware.

Suggestions please 😊

Following with interest! A tin with a lid is a good idea, I’d not thought of that. Better to buy one new piece of cookware than endless foil I guess

Another tin upside down over the top of it?
