Do glass water filters exist?

I’d like to get a water filter (you know, the Brita type ones). We had a water test done by our water company and apparently our lead water content is very high. Long story but without digging out the pipes under the floor boards there’s nothing we can do. I know brita filters remove some lead so we’d like a filter that does this but I don’t like the idea of the water sitting around in plastic and I’m trying to reduce our plastic usage.

Does anyone know of a non plastic (I’m guessing it would be glass) water filter?

Not exactly what you asked for but how about this?

These are expensive to invest in, but really work and save you money in buying all the individual filters. Only need to replace charcoal every 6 months. You do need 2-3 of them though as they take a few hours to fully purify the water.
