I pay them money and they send me emails telling me to get off my fat arse and help - seriously, last month the local group wrote to say 'instead of just reading this, will you come to a meeting, otherwise we will stop writing to you'

I was pondering joining the local group (don't really have disposable cash so was going to volunteer as oppose to donate) but I wondered if 'normal' people did it lol.

why don't you go along and see what it's like? they might be a bunch of eco Dave Sparts or they might be nice.
