After hearning all the stories about it being the warmest April on Friday I woke up last night and couldn't sleep for worrying about climate change and us having a monstrous summmer of heat (I love the sun/light/warmth but I'm worried about a really hot summer - last year was bad enough some days I stayed in becuase I couldn't cope being a fair skinned reddish - in my youth - haired type of person). Anyway what else as an individual can I do - I've insulated/low energy lightbulbs/recycle and compost/try not to use the car - but we do use it for work and shopping/use washable nappies etc etc????. Normally other things (my ds??) keep me awake at night but last night it was the summer ahead and was its heat of our own making!!!
