Like me, you're probably fed up with hearing about all the millions of pounds in profit the supermarkets are making
and the way they squeeze everyone else out of business.....
and I for one believe they're getting a bit complacent about the level of service and value for money they offer.
Now I know it's convenient, all the good under one roof, but when you think about it, the deal isn't really that good,
nor is the experience.....and the poor old shopkeeper on the high street is losing out big time, which ultimately LIMITS OUR CHOICES so.........
for just one week.........let's shop somewhere else!
Let's buy our bread from a baker and our fish from a fishmonger! Now there's a thought!
Haven?t got a fishmonger anymore where you live? That proves the point. Buy your greens from the greengrocer while there still is one.
Let's see if, as a nation, we can get on the news and wipe the smile off of the shareholders faces.
Let's give them something to worry about.... instead of them just counting the piles of cash from dividends we give them!
The staff will still get paid and they won't lose their jobs, it's just delivering a wake up call....we have the power!
Just think we'll take away 1/52 of all the turnover = £Millions
Come on...let's do it, you never know...for one week only
We might get to like it!
