Is there a definites list of things in food and toilettries to avoid? More for healths sake than environmental sake
eg SLS, aspartame etc

In food, from things I've read, most artificial sweeteners are suspect, as are red and yellow food colourings (tartrazine and carmosine(?) I think), monosodium glutamate (MSG) are ones that spring to mind.

In toiletries, parabens, which are in virtually any shampoo, soap etc that you get in have been linked to cancer especially breast cancer. There is an interesting article here I used to get their products but they put their prices up by a silly amount last year, so I'm using Dr Hauscka things now.

Can't type this morning - meant soaps etc that you get in supermarkets and chemists!
