Can I throw salt dough creations on the compost heap?

That's it, really. DCs brought some home from school. When the novelty has worn off, can I bung in on the smelly heap, or would they attract vermin?

I don't think vermin - but I do think putting salt in compost is a bad idea - it will kill the plants you put it on......sorry
