I wear towels. Large, night time ones when I have my period as I'm having quite heavy periods.

I can't wear moon cups as I don't put things in my vagina (can't even wear tampons)

Is there such a thing as an environmental towel that's properly absorbent and large - not some tiny thin thing - I can't go to the loo for up to 4 hours at a time so need to wear them for longer

You can get washable cloth pads... Google them and you'll find suppliers. I know some people really like them, but I haven't tried them personally.

I use washable cloth pads they are great! They do various sizes and I've found the normal towel to be a lot more effective in absorbing than anything you can buy in the shops!

I've seen some bigger pads on Etsy, and I think you can get night pads from www.LittleGreenNarwhal.co.uk . I have some of the pads from there and love them!

Really? So they are actually more absorbent? I have steered clear as I've been worried about leakage!

I use cloth pads too. If you're on facebook do a search for "the bloody waste" "crimson moon" huggally huggally" and "tcs eco". They're fantastically absorbant, I've been using them for nearly a year now and I've never leaked. I used to overflow every morning as a night pad couldn't keep up even if I changed. Definitely give them some serious thought

I have some of these that I use at night. They are huge, give lots of coverage but they are not too bulky. I also use these ones in various sizes, they are made in India, providing decent employment for women and they also donate pads to schoolgirls who otherwise couldn't afford them.

Has anyone used PP cloth pads? Any recommendations? Wearing those awful disposable things after having a baby is the worst.
