have to buy a car. want to buy a used one that hs low emissions. anyone have one or know where to look?

having talked further with dh about buying, we now think that we will wait a while before getting one, but would be interested to know how old your car si and how much are you thinking of selling it for.
will understand if that is too much information required though..

My car was registered in june 2004.

We bought it from new and it cost just over £15k.

Will probably sell for approx £8.5k.

Has just over 10'600 miles on the clock, full service history.

Also has rear parking sensors, metallic paint.

Is Ford Focus 1.8 Ghia.

Lovely car that drives well, also has good write ups.

theres some Honda Hybrid that does like 70mpg... unless im thinking of something else...

I have a citroen C3 Diesel - combined 65 mpg. if you look at www.newcarnet.co.uk it lets you compare cars on emissions (Do a CO2 search under the "car search" drop down).
