A question for Cheeky wipes users

Hello

My cheeky wipes have just arrived. I'm stupidly and ridiculously excited about a Tupperware of expensive flannels!

So the instructions say to put all 25 in with the solution straight away.

Seems like a lot of wipes, and they say change the water every two days. I'm thinking I'd have been better off just making 10 wet.

What do other people do?!

Do you keep some dry for drying baby's bottom off afterwards?

By the way YES I know I could've made my own/ I know cheeky wipes are expensive/ YES ice cream tubs work just as well etc etc but I wanted the whole system and loved how they've made it really approachable so we went for it!

I used washable wipes (poundland baby flannels) and I just wet under the tap as needed.

I tend to put in enough for a couple of days. I don't know exactly how many I'll use so I top up as needed. I've had them for a couple of months and love them. They make me realise how much better flannels are for wiping than baby wipes.

I use homemade double sided fleece/terry wipes and wet about 8 in the morning and store them in a ziplock bag.

I find they stink after 24 hours but I only use water.

They are great!

In the end we went for the 'wet as needed' approach by putting a little bit of water in the box each time. A good idea which I knew about too late was to have a thermos of warm water (not hot obviously) next to the changing table and use water from there.

Wet as needed here too! I like to keep some dry for drying babies bottoms before nappy goes back on!
Big fans here....just ordered the reusable toilet wipes for us!!

Wet as needed from tap if changing in bathroom or thermos if changing elsewhere.

No time to wet as needed in this house (am clearly the only one perpetually in a rush to get out on the school run when a nappy needs changing!) but I bought extra wipes and fill the container with wipes and water each time. It probably takes closer to 3 days use them all rather than 2, but as long as you put some tea tree oil in they don't get smelly.
