Can someone tell me about making 'bricks' out of old paper?

We're not talking about masses of paper her, just the shredded bits of old bank statements etc...

You can buy a special press (I've seen them in those innovation type catalogues you get free with some papers). I think the basic idea is that you mix the paper with water to make a pulp, then squish it into a mould to get all the water out, then dry it. Hey presto, paper brick.
