Saw David Bellamy yesterday!

Listened to him talk at the Southport flower show yesterday and he'ds still as keen on conservation as ever.
He thinks we all need worms and water butts in our gardens. I've got plenty of the former and one of the later.
He also said we shouldn't drive more than 56 mph (thats when the car engine works best), will have to practice that one.

ooooooooohhhhhhhhh did he still twalk like that?and has he still got his lovely beard?

yes and yes, only its now grey. He is 73.

i'm reading his book The Bellamy Herbal at the moment, enjoying it very much.

it was a present from my m-i-l....she went to see him open a local conservation project and got him to sign it for me......

was he being chased by a giant beetle through Bellamy sized grass?
