Aren't they only 2 seaters? I've had a look at them in the past too.

Really annoys me that there's the technology to make electric cars that will go 100+ miles per charge with a top speed of 70mph but no car manufacturer in the UK will make them

Cheaper than 9k though ... Going Green

GeorginaA · 19/07/2006 12:17

Ah no, it is a 4 seater - just doesn't look like it from the pics.

It does say space for "2 small children" though - lol. Could be entertaining as they get bigger

bakedpotato · 19/07/2006 12:20

i've seen a family of 5 in one...
3 children in the back, tight fit

misdee · 19/07/2006 16:34

i thought they were around 8.5k. good prices, shame they wont travel far on charge. but perfect for motoring about town.

v tempted tho' dh would not only laugh at me but probably ban the thing from being parked outside house in his presence! got to be the way to go tho hasn't it? sure in 10 yrs time or so, it won't even be up for debate whether to go electric be taxed to hell if we don't!

misdee · 19/07/2006 17:41

my dh would also wet himself laughing.

but like you say, it has to be the way to go. and i'm sure someone will supercharge one soon for motorway usage lol.
