It's great to get the green section. Thnxs mnet!Smile
I help run the eco-school group at the high school that I work in and was just wondering what other schools recycle.
We have got the council to pick up our paper waste, ink cartridges go to a charity as do mobile phones but do other schools use cans for cash scheme or anything else.

our school is an eco school and does a lot of composting.

Sad to say the school kitchen does not produce any green waste, just lots of cardboard. Hopefully that is about to change.

are you just thinking about recycling? our school also has a walking bus thing and a cycle shed and an outdoor classroom and nature trail. all related to its eco-school approach.

there's a school scheme for recycling textiles - will try and find the link.

Thnxs Zubb, I think we already do that one "bags for schools" where parents bring in bags of clothes and the school gets paid by the weight. Last year we raised over £200.
