Old clothes

Does anyone know what should I do with old clothes etc that are too tatty for charity shops? (Really stained or ripped). I have loads of rags already so want to get rid but don't think charity would really appreciate this pile of tat! Thank you!

Some charity shops bag up unwanted and unsuitable clothes for the rag man who gives them money for them.

Might be worth asking some of your local ones.

Any textile banks near you- Locator website could help you find one near you.

WRVS take rags to raise money.
DD's school also use "bags2school" for rags.

Can you rip them up some more yourself and use them for cleaning windows, floors, dusting?

Thank you, I already have a massive stack of rags so I am looking to get rid. I will ask at the charity shops in town.
