metal clothes hangers

Any views on what I do with these - the ones from the dry cleaners?

Normally I hang clothes on wooden or padded hangers, to protect them. I have some clothes which need to be dry cleaned. The cleaners won't take the hangers back.

Is there any other use for them? All I can think of at the moment is landfill, but there has to be something better, surely!

Try a new dry cleaners. The last two I have used gratefully accept the hangers back.

What about charity shops?

Or brownies/cubs/scouts/guides. DH's overalls come on them. They make great mobiles and have cut them up for plant supports. Never had a problem getting rid of them on freecycle either. Big up the craft/garden use to increase desirability! Grin
