DH and I sometimes buy fruit juice "made from concentrate". Can we just buy the concentrate and water it down ourselves? Does anyone know any relevant brands/ stockists/ perhaps online?

It would be a thumping idea wouldn't it. Or just use a juicer (not that I do, takes sooo much time).

This is widely available in every freezer section in US supermarkets. Always seems odd to me that it's hard to source in the Uk! I have seen concentrated juice in tall glass jars in health food shops here. The main problem is keeping it from going off, I found.

Yes, it is very readily available.

You can buy it in 1l bottles or in 5l containers, but the 5l ones do tend to go 'fizzy' before you drink all of it unless you drink a lot of juice or store it in a fridge (which obv. takes loads of space). Most wholefood/healthfood shops would stock it I should think.

The big advantage I think apart from the saving on packaging & cost is that

a) it goes a lot further as I generally make it up weaker than regular juice (esp when dd was small)

b) it lasts for ages, so if you only give your dcs juice sometimes it works out much cheaper than having to buy a whole litre. (Though not ages enough for us to get through 5l!)

c) if the 5l containers of apple juice concentrate go fizzy they can be turned into very nice cider by dh Grin

We generally have this one, Suma also do plain apple, apple & cranberry & apple & raspberry all of which are nice. There are plenty of other brands too I think.
