I think I might have found a solution. A few drops of either Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil or Tea Tree Oil (both very inexpensive and easy to find)on a cotton ball, place inside the caddy but outside the starch bag... I haven't had any flies coming out of the caddy for the past 3 days!! I am not sure how often I'll need to refresh the cotton with the essential oils though. This is just an experiment...
