How do I dispose of old coathangers?

If you had about 30 old coathangers you no longer had use for, how would you dispose of them?

I would give them to a charity shop, or freecycle them. Someone was asking for hangers on my local freecycle last week.

Yes, try freecycle, it's amazing what people will take, and it's quite interesting meeting people when they come round to collect things.

I give metal hangers back to the dry cleaners

Our Tesco Extra collects them for recycling. I very rarely shop in Tesco, but do go there when I've got a bundle of hangers to get rid of.

Wire ones go back to the dry cleaners.

I think freecycle is probably be your best bet. There is no end of people that need them. I've given away a fair few coathangers there before. Charity shops are another good option.
