It's bust, which is why we're getting rid of it, so doubt anyone would want it?

You'd be surprised. Offer it as spares or repairs.

Have you asked your local council? Ours won't collect, but if you bring them in, you can throw in a big container labelled 'small appliances'. I find this somehow very satisfying [saddo emoticon].

leave it outside the house with a piece of paper on it saying scrap, it will be gone within half an hour
