Who do you share good news with?

I had some amazing news today but after I had it, I realised, whilst waiting for my partner to get home, I had no one else to share it with!

Maybe I felt this as it was due to a financial settlement and talking about money can be crass but irrespective of this I felt a bit sad not having anyone to share with as the sum involved is what makes this the amazing part.

Do you have people with whom you can share everything, just pick up the phone? Maybe I'm just reserved.

Oh and I didn't share with my family as we're not close.

Thank you. Yes, you're right. I suppose as this has been a constant stressor for multiple years, which some friends know about, I wanted to share the 'whoop whoop we're done' news.

I don't share money news with people. The truth is I'm wealthier than many of my friends and am conscious of that. I feel it would come off as gloaty.

I have one friend I would share this type of news with as we talk about business and finances a lot. I wouldn’t share it with any friends other than her though.

Money I would only share with my partner and children

My best friend, my mam and my partner are the only ones I'd generally share financial good news with.
