It's crept into almost every sentence when I'm stressed 😔😔😔

I haven't stopped. I was careful when the kids were small, but no longer.

Same. And weirdly my kids never swore in my presence until really quite old (sixth form) and I do not know why as we are both swearers.

We use fake swearing too. Favourites are DANG IT ALL TO HECK and IDIOT HOLES.

Failing that, DD is instructed not to repeat 'mummy's driving language' and she doesn't. She quite a puritan actually despite hearing it.

I don't swear if I'm walking down the street and someone could overhear as they might find it offensive. LOTHE youths swearing loudly on trains. Equally when I meet someone new I'd not be super sweary straight away.

But in front of kids - fine 😊

I'm not of their faith, but I work within a religious community, and I don't swear at all when I'm at work.

At home, it's a different matter...😎

I’m thinking of French and Saunders’ Blood and sand! Blood and sand! just chopped me finger off!

anotherpotoftea · 23/08/2022 21:18

My grandad used to say “Oh chrysanthemums!”

I've gone for "fudge" currently...I'm making a slow change. I do forget to swap shit for sugar far too often though 😂
