Starving children in Africa

I feel sick to my core that children are still dying in Africa from starvation. I wish I could help more - I run my own business but I have to rely on Ebay to sell what I am selling - I wish I could sell more from my website to avoid Ebay fees. I would prefer to donate the money I pay in Ebay fees to Unicef or some other similar charity.

I'm curious as to why you've chosen eBay fees in particular as where you could make cuts to donate to charity.

eBay are providing a service to you which you pay for. Their staff make a living by selling you this service, just as presumably you earn yours by selling things. So TBH I think it's fair enough that they charge fees.

If you don't want to use eBay then can you promote your website more, use search engine optimisation etc? But unless you can do this yourself you will once again be in the position of paying someone else.

Have you tried setting up at Etzy shop or a Facebook account with your business name, people pay via PayPal with those so you eliminate the eBay charges!x
