My old dad has died

My dad has died. He was 87 and in a nursing home. He was a grumpy git at times but my grumpy git. I just really miss him. I’m pleased he’s at peace now but I still can’t believe he’s gone.
I just wanted to acknowledge him. RIP Dad. Love you xxx

I lost my dad in March. I've hardly cried, think I'm in denial about it

Thank you everyone. I’ve been a bit low today as trying to choose songs and poems for his funeral service.
He had a great life, he was an extremely intelligent man and a wonderful character who said what he thought regardless!! It used to get him into trouble but he didn’t care.
It won’t be the same without him x

It sounds like he was a great man. I love honest people even if they are a bit too honest
