Where can I find easy-care trousers for my very short mum?

I need some stretchy easily washed trousers for my mum easy for carers to change . Cat find anything suitable for my very short mum can anyone point me in the right direction ? Shops all full of wide legged designed for tall people .

Yes chums or Bonmarche they both do leg lengths I have bought some trousers from bonmarche i am short they have 3 leg lengths, .they also wash well. ETA they also have elasticated waist trousers

Bonmarche , not the most fashionable of places but do short trousers.

I know landsend do made to measure leg lengths for men, maybe they do women also ?

Try niche online - they do stretch trousers or the Emma trousers both have short legs, the latter go down to 25".

Sainsbury’s leggings come in petite lengths, the modal ones are £12 each and wash and wear well.

I buy a lot from Damart for my mum.

M&S 'short' trousers are 29'' and their 'extra short' are 27'' (suitable for a woman about 5'1 I think) but they're hard to get in-store. My own mother is inches shorter than that but B&M do a 25'' trouser length. Any smaller and I think you'd have to buy girls' trousers!

Get them shortened. I get them from Primark.

I get them shortened. They're fine for everyday.

I get these M&S ones for mum in short but they also do extra short. Very easy to get on and off, not too narrow or too baggy, great value and wash well.

Thank you . I got some Matalan cropped pull on ones in the end.

its hard as she never would have worn jogging type trousers or leggings so tried to get some that are still ‘her style’ but easy to manage the urine incontinence issues .

i will look at all the suggestions as I feel we will need quite a few pairs and for different weather.

Thanks for the update. My aged relative wouldn't have worn joggers either but when she could no longer do up zips and buttons, pull-up trousers were essential because she lives alone. It was in the pandemic and needed immediately so I ordered some cheap joggers. As they were shortened the cuffs were removed. I might try matalan for summer trousers for her, but she liked the primark ones because they're warm. She wasn't keen on the pandemic ones but they were from amazon and nowhere near as cheap as primark.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Matalan. Some of the rather uninspiring clothes shops can have some nice things.

If you have trouble finding any nice ones of the right length, personally I’d take the longer ones to an alteration service to be taken up. I’m in outer SW London, not exactly a cheap area, but such services are still IMO extremely reasonable.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill have a good range of trousers. My Mum is small.
