My grandmother is 90 the care home have said she is “entering the last phase”. She has gradually got weaker over the last couple of weeks. Today she only
managed to wake for maybe 30 seconds she said hello then fell back asleep and didn’t wake again even when I tried to say goodbye to leave. She is on a syringe driver of antisickness meds as she is constantly being sick coffe ground (blood) vomit and some morphine to control pain. She can’t move or eat more than a mouthful of food or drink .
how long does this last because I think both me and her are exhausted!
