Rubber Mattress Recommendation Please

Hi

Has anyone bought a king size rubber covered mattress please like the type you get in hospital?

Due to severe incontinence we can’t get a normal mattress for them. I’ve had waterproof mattress covers and pads but they still get through.

Im thinking a rubber covered mattress with a washable comfortable mattress cover which would disguise the rubber underneath but also mean bed can be stripped and mattress washed down.

any recommendations please?

I haven't bought one as we get my little boy's through the OT as he's in a profiling bed but he has a mattress very similar to this one

An assessment by an occupational therapist may lead to a hospital bed and waterproof mattress being provided. Contact your local adult social work for a care needs assessment or contact the GP and ask how to get a care / OT assessment. Other care equipment can be provided if needed, e.g. commode, hoist, etc.
