Good morning everyone!
I am super luckily in that at 37 I still have 3 grandparents, they are all nearing 90. One pair live together, my nan has dementia but is still living at home. The other lives on his own.

Unfortunately we are at a point where we need to install video doorbells for peace of mind. We have lost a considerable amount of money due to doorstep scams/fraud.

I am looking for a doorbell that records when motion is detected, that uses WiFi, and can be wired in.

The second requirement is that it needs a screen counterpart for them to be able to communicate through from their lounge without even opening/going to the door. This needs to be a screen that's sole purpose is for the door bell, it can't be done through a phone or iPad, we can have an app linked to a phone as well but there needs to be a permanent screen for the doorbell.

Any recommendations appreciated x

Ring doorbells can be configured to work with Amazon Echo devices. So, when someone rings the bell, they appear on the Echo Show screen, and you can have a two way conversation with them.

Another vote for eufy. The cameras are less than £30 each on Amazon at the moment. You also need a memory card though. They are extremely easy to install. There is no subscription.
You can talk to the other person.
I have it set up at my Mums. Three cameras, one on her front door, one on her drive way and one in her kitchen/back door. My mum can use the cameras to show me things really easily too.
The picture quality is great too.
You could get door sensors too so you get an alert if someone opens the front door. There are all sorts of options. You just have to work out what is best.

Oh buggers, sorry I missed the bit where you said you needed a dedicated screen for them to use for the door.

Eufy also do wireless intercom systems with dedicated screens. More pricey though. There are loads of other options too. Here is a cheap one on Amazon.
