Can she walk with crutches? Local afternoon tea? Maybe bring a collapsible stool so she could elevate her leg while sitting.

if staying at home, bring the party to her. M&S lovely things to make your own afternoon tea at home. Balloons, flowers, get a big picture of your family and make it into a jigsaw (I think photobox still does this), perfume, chocolates? Doesn’t have to be all of these, just lots of ideas coming :-)

She’s currently still in hospital using a Walker to hop about prior to this fit and well so come as a total shock. Some lovely ideas thank you x

Get her a knee scooter so she can get out and about a bit. If you can, get an all terrain one as they are more stable

How’s her sense of humour? Paid of roller skates to unwrap?

Agree an in-hospital afternoon tea is a nice idea.

What about a beauty treatment - a facial or similar?
