Hi - hope everyone had a nice a Christmas as possible.

As per the title, my mum suffers with this and experiences nausea on an off all day, sometimes to a debilitating effect.

She’s on 2x Omeprazole at night (taking one in the morning didn’t work for her) and takes Gaviscon and Rennies when needed, but it’s still bad for her.

Does anyone have any other tips?

It could be that the Omeprazole isn’t working anymore. She could go back to the GP for an alternative.
I presume she is already eating small meals and sleeping with her head raised.

Is she supposed to take the Gaviscon “when needed”? The two people I know with this have been told to take it routinely after every meal

Thanks - ridiculously we didn’t know about the raising up in need so I’ve just ordered her a bed wedge - thanks for the tip @saltysquid
