After five months in hospital, my mum is moving into a nursing home. I have just thought, she will need some new clothes. She is very limited in her mobility and manoeuvrability following a stroke, so I was thinking some velour joggers, which I can find no problem, but am a bit stuck on tops as I think front opening will be easier to get on and off.
Anyone seen anything suitable? Or know of a good place for this sort of thing? Or do I just want to look online for ‘jersey blouse’.

Just bought mine a whole lot of sets from john lewis. Avoided hoods-they have been great so far . They had a decent choice

Oh that’s nice. It’s really a button up top I need ideas on. I don’t think she can easily get a tshirt over her head. Maybe they will have something like that there.

My MIL got t-shirt material blouses from white stuff when she had breast/shoulder surgery. Easy to get on as front opening, though sometimes the buttons are a bit small and fiddly.

The carers will help her get dressed so maybe with their assistance, she will manage t shirts.

I think her shoulder is too sore. In hospital I was asked to make sure all pyjamas were stretchy and front opening.
