Ideas for womenswear?

My still stylish but increasingly confused and less mobile 85 yo mum has requested a “smart top” for Christmas. I’ve been scouring M&S but feeing a bit lost. I’m getting her a couple of plain long sleeved cotton roll neck but trying to find something a bit fancier too. Needs to be comfy, long sleeved, easy to wear and wash but nice enough for lunch out or meeting friends.
any ideas? Or shall I just go for a nice jumper and perhaps a bit of bling necklace?
many thanks. Ps she lives v rurally and never in a shop apart from food shopping so I want to get her a few nice bits.

I used to get my Mum some bits from Roman. She liked Boden, Poetry as well.
She was buried in a lovely dress from Roman in her favourite colour

Was also going to suggest bon Marche

Or John Lewis would probably have something suitable

Not sure what size but yours (size 14+) has lots of long sleeve sparkly tops that should fit the bill
