Elderly parents

care alarm that doesn't need a copper landline

Following on from my other thread about the challenges I've had switching my parents' broadband and phone caused by the reliance of the careline alarm provided by the council on a copper landline ...

Can anyone recommend a care alarm that uses a mobile signal instead which they have found to be reliable and easy to use.

It's hard enough to get Dad to wear the one he has got already ...

Many thanks.

We haven't used this because we are not shifting until we have to. But when I was looking around, I found this.

That does look good. I like the 300m range - parents have a big garden and Dad is often pottering at the far end of it, out of sight of the house. Thank you.

My DM has her alarm via Taking Care. They have been much much better than her previous council provider.
