Entertainment for someone with limited mobility and a broken arm

This is about my neighbour rather than a parent but I figure the this is where the expertise I’m looking for might be found…

My lovely neighbour is in her 70s and has a neurological condition that badly affects her mobility. Last week she had a fall and now has broken her right arm. She is hugely frustrated by the difficulty moving at the best of times and is deeply pissed off about the arm. She says she’s bored senseless. Can anyone suggest activities or entertainment to help her pass the time?

Poor her and kind you . Audio books , podcasts of something within her interests , box set of something tv wise either comedy or film depending on her tastes

If you have the time perhaps go round with an afternoon tea for her and you to enjoy with a bunch of daffodils to brighten her room

Podcasts! A great thought. Embarrassing I hadn’t thought of that as I’m addicted to them myself. Thank you!

I'm enjoying working through old desert island discs - such a breadth of guests

If she likes ghost stories and classic horror I highly recommend The Classic Ghost Stories podcast by Tony Walker. A superb mix of authors covering the whole classic canon of Poe, Benson, James et all to more contemporary authors such as HP Lovecraft, Daphne du Maurier and HG Wells. He is a great narrator and also talks about the stories after. Abd there are LOADS of episodes..

Some areas offer a library at home service where someone will drop off books from the library to someone housebound.
