Does anyone know how long LPA registrations take in Northern Ireland? We have one signed, witnessed etc, but we now need to trigger it as mother's condition is worsening. And does a doctor need to be involved to give another opinion on capacity, ie that it's diminished? Our legal system here moves at a glacial pace for other matters so it's a bit concerning.
