Sheltered flat and Daily Living PIP

I have been offered a flat in sheltered accomodation. It is an individual flat but there's a manager during office hours and a call system in each flat that operates out of office hours in case of emergency.
I have read about cases where people have lost their Daily Living PIP because DWP classes these Sheltered places as partial care homes or because the residents receive an element of care.
My question is, Will I lose my Daily Living PIP if I take the offer and move in to a Sheltered home with warden and call system?

If you pay for this warden through your rent I can’t see how you could lose your PIP. If you self fund in a care home you do not lose PIP/AA. It is only if the local authority is funding your care that you lose the PIP.
However to be absolutely certain phone the PIP help line

Are you sure it's not the severe disability premium ( paid to people living alone on a means tested benefit but also in receipt of a disability benefit) that people lose because they are no longer classed as living alone ? There is no reason you would lose PIP unless your care was being funded in a care home.

Hi Babyroobs
It is the Daily Living part of PIP which I receive. The sheltered housing is Council property and I live alone.
There are quite a few cases where people in sheltered housing have lost their Daily Living PIP, either wrongfully or rightly, I don't know, but I need to know before I go any further with this.
Thanks

If you go into a care home and are entirely self funding you keep a
the daily living allowance of PIP. If the LA pays any part of your fees, you lose it.
