I'm worried about my DFriend

DF's "DM" is an utter horror and always has been. Used to be a violent nasty drunk but due to falls and strokes can no longer be violent or get hold of drink.

DF does lots for her including round the clock phone calls. DF also works full time, has had a previous breakdown and had high blood pressure.

We, probably get oldest fries have been trying to get her to put some boundaries in for a long time, now I'm seriously worried she never will and will end up having a stroke or heart attack herself.

"DM" is refusing to go into a care home and is currently going through her savings at to pay for full time care.

In 3 months 4 carers have walked out because she's so nasty and the agency have insisted on cameras in all rooms.

DF admitted at the weekend that she doesn't know if she will ever recognise that she's had enough and that she doesn't love her M anymore.

Is there anything we can do to help her? We've suggested things like calling Adult Social Care and saying that she's no longer going to look after her M but after so many years of being controlled, I'm not sure she'd be strong enough to do this.

Any suggestions would be most welcome Flowers
