My mother is in her early 70s.

For a few years she has been experiencing headaches. They would last for up to a week at a time. Paracetamol doesn't help. She self diagnosed migraines. She won't go to the doctor with these headaches.

She's currently going through another episode. She can get up and eat breakfast and do household chores and go to the shops and everyday tasks. However she is experiencing a headache that won't go away.

This is getting ridiculous now. She had a week long headache and had to go to bed early last night and she still won't go to the doctor. If she was to go and get a prescription migraine medicine, the headache should come to an end. This is awful.

Why won’t she go? Do you have any idea what’s stopping her?

Hmm that doesn’t sound like a migraine.

I get posture related headaches sore to an issue with the discs in my neck and the last for days at a time, they are horrid but I can normally low level function with them rather than being completely kyboshed and wishing death by migraine.

Could you say that you’ve looked into it and it doesn’t sound like migraine so you’d like her checked ?
