Portable bidet, anyone?

To stop my elderly father getting urinary tract infections, I wondered if there might be sort of bidet in existence? We don't get him in the bath any more as it's upstairs... we do soak him in a large jar on the commode. We don't want a whole new plumbing thing set up, however.

Now, a 'portable bidet' is on Amazon but it's really just a squirting thing, like a mini hose. What I'm looking for is something he can sit on that swirls water around and is not lavatorial. Or, something that clamps over his bits and pieces and cleans them - not likely I know but if someone invented this for a specific purpose of cleaning the elderly, I think it would be a big help.

Could something else be used for this purpose? There is a so-called banana cleaner on Amazon - it's obviously not used for this purpose, as wags on Twitter have pointed out. I don't think that would work in this case, but is there something else that might work?

I was going to call this thread 'Willy Jacuzzi' but thought better of it, anyway it sounds like an Italian skier.

We bought my father one of these. Both the seat and the water are heated, and it has a blow dry function as well. It's been a Godsend since he can't quite clean up anymore and neither of us wants me to have to wipe his bum. (it has a remote control so you can set it to clean front and also the back)

My sister bought my niece one when she had her first baby. She thought it was a strange and somewhat icky gift till she came home with a 3rd degree tear.

Not wiping isn't why men get UTIs so even if this exist, it isn't going to solve his problem.

They get them as their bladders don't empty properly due to enlarged prostates so the urine sits too long in a nice warm bladder resulting in infections.

Extra washing isn't taught as a way to reduce UTIs in men.
