Tips for using Amazon Alexa Show for DM with mild dementia

We have brought one of these for my mum who has recently been diagnosed with mild mixed dementia. One of the main reasons was to use it with a Ring doorbell but we haven't got that yet. I set up the Alexa Show today with a few things but I wondered if anyone has any other suggestions/tips.

So far we have widgets with -

Calendar - including a calendar that myself and my sister use to add appointments to

Calls - so she can just say "Alexa, call JennyWreny" - haven't worked out if we can call her on it or do video calls.

Shopping list

Weather

Yellow sticky note saying "JennyWreny will come round on Thursday at 2pm" - I'd really like to be able to change this from the app on my phone but haven't worked that out yet.

I want to add some photos but I haven't had time to sort that out properly.

I set it up linked to her account but that means to see the shopping list etc I have to log in as her on the Alexa app on my phone. I don't have Alexa at home, but I guess if I did then it might be a problem as I wouldn't be able to see both.

I've left her with a sheet of A4 with a list of things she can ask Alexa.

I work with a child with ASD who has one. Their family has programmed the daily routine into it, one task at a time - when you have done the task you can tap the screen and it will give you the next job to do. Might something like that help to ensure that she retains ownership of daily chores/meds etc?

Ooo, thanks, that might be useful. I noticed the routine option on the menu - I'll take another look at that and see if we can use it for daily tasks (she has a Pivotell for her meds). Managed to get a few photos on it today, so it looks nice!
