My mum died today

Just that, she died today. I'm devastated. She was old and had been very ill but my god I miss her already. I can't believe my mum has gone.
I couldn't get there in time and she was alone and scared and it breaks my heart. I'm so sorry mum, I love you so much xxx

I’m so incredibly sorry. My dad died a year ago and he was very old. I miss him every day. But I feel him with me all the time. He was such a massive presence in my life. Take it easy and allow yourself time to grieve.

Thank you to everyone and my thoughts are with everyone who has lost someone they loved. We gave mum a bloody good send off! She would of loved it. My Dh and my girls have all been fabulous looking after me. We talk about her all the while. My dad is doing well and we have got into a little routine. We go for lunch and raise a glass to mum. It's early days and I still have a little cry most days. I miss not speaking every day with her but I call and speak more now to my dad which is nice. It will be a sad Christmas but she's always in my heart.
I don't know how I feel about this but each time I see a robin, which is quite a lot lately, it does make me smile thinking it's mum popping down. Love to you all and thank you again for your kind thoughts x
