Hi
My mum was in an excellent care home and has had amazing care from the staff. They were very kind and did everything to make sure there was no pain and she was respectfully treated to the last.

I'd like to give them something to say thank you. Would you do vouchers? Or something else?

When I went to my sister’s care home after she died , I took enough crates of wine and boxes of chocolates to cover all members of staff. It is a Mensa run home and the staff were amazingly kind . Several of them came to her funeral. I will always be indebted to them.

We did some baskets of nice tea / coffee / biscuits / chocolate and treat stuff so all the staff could have something on their breaks.

The care home staff who looked after my sister were all so lovely and we didn’t want to miss out the night staff (who we never met).
