Hi, my mum has stage 4 COPD and can no longer wash her hair. As she is on permanent oxygen can anyone recommend a safe hair shower cap I can use? Would a dymacare one be ok to use? Thank you

What about dry shampoo in a can ?

Sorry for your mum’s illness, my mum had IPF and was also on permanent oxygen. A no rinse shampoo cap might be an option:

The no rinse shampoo caps are really good. I bought them for my Mom, who has dementia and is reluctant to wash her hair. Her hair is as clean, dry and soft as with normal hair washing.

Thank you for the advice @barberousbarbara @NotSoFlatStanley and @Talk1ngD1n0s

My mum has the no rinse shampoo caps. They are expensive but they work well.

I wish I had known about these when my Mom was alive and had dementia. She was very resistant to showers and her hair would be awful. This would have really helped. It took days sometimes to coax her into the shower.
