I know nobody knows, but how long do we think care homes will be closed to visitors? And if there is a case confirmed at a care home what's the protocol? Do all the residents have to stay in their rooms? Can't find any guidance on gov web sites. Thanks

They are allowing one visitor to my gran as she is suicidal.

All of her care home are confined to their rooms despite the home having no cases. The only exceptions are those who can’t be safely left awake and alone.

The manager said it will change once they have all had tests, which have been applied for. Then more residents will be able to go to the communal areas.
