Private ambulance- anyone used one?

I'm looking into a private ambulance to transport my dad from one care home to another 200miles away.

Has anyone ever used a service to do such journey?

Hi we didn't use it in the end, but the PALS service at two different hospitals gave us contact details for different private ambulances.

Could you try local hospitals ?

I used to work for a private ambulance company, while I never did any transfers that were 200 miles (400 miles return) we did many more local transfers.
