Anyone in Fife area just had care withdrawn?

Quite a specific query here. We've just had a phone call (Friday afternoon) from Fife social care team to say that my in-laws care will be reduced this week and completely removed from the following week because their contract with the care provider (Avicenna?) has ended. Has this happened to anyone else? I am assuming (hoping) they will be scrabbling around trying to find people and it will all resolve itself but right now, on a Friday afternoon, we are in a bit of a panic. Anyone else?

They have carers 4 times a day and really do need them.

Not the same but we once got a phone call to say Council was force closing care home in 3 weeks. V difficult but everything was resolved in time frame and everyone found new places. Fingers v tightly crossed.

Hello, just wondering where about are you in Fife as we are currently trying to get a care package set up for my dad. Did Fife Council sort out an alternative care provider for your in-laws?
