Easy to get on shoes?

Does anyone know of any easy to get on shoes we can get for elderly arthritic MIL. Struggling to find something I thought would be easy. Something with Velcro that aren't slippers.

Hi- have a look at cosyfeet or hotter. Some do mail order. Some mobility aids shops stock them too.

Hotter are nice and wide with relatively soft leather. They have some Velcro fastening ones. The podiatrist at work recommends them to people frequently. Also maybe look into getting a long handled shoe horn so she can slip them on easier if her fingers are arthritic.

We got these elastic 'laces' for Mum and put them in her regular shoes instead of the real laces, she finds them easy to get on and off now and gives you more choice of shoes. Inmaker no tie laces

Hotter has a greater range of more stylish shoes, Cosyfeet have a smaller range, but go much wider, with strap extensions for smaller feet.

If your mother has small narrow feet but just finds wriggling them into shoes a problem, or no problem with feet but it's arthritic hands that are the problem, then she certainly will find Cosyfeet too wide and may have problems with Hotter.
