Anyone work for DWP and can help with attendance allowance payment?

My Nan is in receipt of attendance allowance which is paid to my Grandad and which has apparently been getting paid to her every 4 weeks, except we can't find which account it is going into.

Social worker today said they will not be able to give the account details of where it is getting paid to due to GDPR (which I don't think is correct but unsure)
So what are we supposed to do!? We don't know where the money is going as have their account statements and it's not going into any we are aware of.

Do they have any letters about the entitlement? Either way I'd write to the DWP saying they don't appear to be receiving the payment. Your gm/gf should sign the letter.

Just contact AA and they will go through some security questions to confirm identity then they can tell you the account payment details.

@dancemom
See this is what I thought- the woman was on the phone to them but just kept saying - no due to
GDPR they won't tell you the account details it's going into even speaking to my Grandad. I know she's wrong. But she was having non of it. So daft.

Have your Nan on the phone.

Phone. You need them both on the same room:
your Nan in the room to answer the Initial security questions. Because it's her case.

Then you need your dad in the room, to answer any questions, because somehow or other, probably in error they've got him down as the grantee? )

Also, at the end, ask for this(dad) to be changed, from him back to her, they'll send you a form, all relates to new data laws)

If not hold firm, ask to speak to a manager, again and again, say that you're not happy, ask to escalate it, until you are happy.

The AA could be paid into a post office account , my parents is . They have an account each, we get it out with their card every week.
