Best smartfone for elderly mother

I'd be interested if anyone has sorted this. Basically a smartphone which is easy to learn, and can be set up with a couple of "one click" calls to specific people. Can do this with a Doro 6030, which also has a panic alarm button on the back, but it's not a smart phone, and I think it's going to become obsolete quite soon.

After doing a bit of research, it seems that the Doro 8035 is good. Not least because you can access it remotely so if there's a problem with it, I should be able to sort it out via my pc.

DMiL hates her Doro smartphone, loves my old iPhone. She finds the iPhone more intuitive (and I can sort it out for her...)

Also loves her iPad.

My father has an iPhone as both myself and his granddaughters can sort it for him. Also have him on find my iPhone which is useful

She'll use it mainly for the phone and the occasional google

What about a simple Sony ax1 or another android phone? You can personalise very easily. So xl icons etc to make it easy?

My mum had been through all sorts of phones. She's finally got one she can't mess up - my old iPhone.
