Another experience of caring

In today's Observer, and article on having found yourself accidentally moving back home to care for elderly parents, with a link to the "reluctant carer" blog: www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/jan/19/dad-more-comebacks-than-elvis-confessions-of-a-reluctant-carer

The blog relates a call to 111, with Dad giving untrue answers which he hopes will keep him out of hospital, with daughter going along with it because he seems OK, and she knows too well that the ambulance wait will be hours, let alone what happens in A&E - something I've experienced twice in the last 6 weeks.

I must confess I didn't read all of that Blush

so I'm not sure if they partly moved in with parents to save money themselves

for some reason I thought the blogger was a man?

The reference to teenaged stubble suggests it, definitely ;-)

I've had a scan through the blog, he is their son.

tbh looking at the Twitter account etc makes me think "book deal" which in turn makes me hope that a lot of it is exaggerated. So depressing.
